Resumo

The COVID-19 Pandemic led humanity to experience a crisis never seen before. The impacts on people's lives are immeasurable especially in the light of unexpected losses and the experience of multiple grieves. This situation induces a perception of constant insecurity and fear that promotes the reorganization of the practices of several health providers. In the case of Psychology of a reference hospital for fighting the pandemic in Distrito Federal, which needed to reinvent itself to continue its commitment to caring and helping people in psychological distress by creating a telehealth service in order to enable psychological support to family members who have lost relatives to the virus. This article presents an experience report about the role of psychologist in the grief elaboration process through the use of digital tools in accordance with the health recommendations for social distancing. The analysis resulting from this work shows the importance of technology for the family's reorganization in the grief process. In addition, this article aims to encourage the development of new practices that will contribute to the construction of psychology as a science that promotes health and quality of life.
